Ito naman sinubukan kong lutuin noong 17 June 2012. Spaghetti Guisado ang tawag dito. Nakita ko ito sa pakete ng Sunshine Spaghetti at sinunod ko ang instructions.
Spaghetti Guisado
Ingredients:
450g Sunshine Spaghetti, uncooked
3 tbsps cooking oil
1 tbsp garlic, minced
1 pc large onion, minced
400 grams pork or chicken, boiled and sliced or shredded (keep broth)
1/2 head cabbage, cut into shreds
1 pc large carrot, cut into strips
3 tbsps soy sauce
3-4 cups broth (from boiled pork)
1/2 cup kintsay or Chinese leeks
salt or patis (fish sauce) to taste
For Garnishings:
2 pcs Chinese sausage, fried and sliced
1/2 cup spring onion, chopped for toppings
5 pcs sliced calamansi
Directions:
1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. Saute garlic in oil. Add onions, cooked pork or chicken, carrot, and cabbage.
3. Season with soy sauce and stir fry for 2 minutes.
4. Add broth and simmer.
5. Add kintsay.
6. When vegetables are cooked, add cooked spaghetti. Season with salt.
7. Garnish with Chinese chorizo and spring onions.
8. Serve with sliced calamansi on the side.
Serves 8-9.
